THE STORY OF BARBARA TABB

Barbara Tabb grew up in foster care in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the tender age of two, she has surmounted incredible odds to achieve significant academic and personal success. Despite a childhood marked by severe abuse and instability, she refused to let her past define her future. She demonstrated remarkable resilience by earning an Associate of Arts degree and is now on track to complete a Bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Communication. Her academic journey is further distinguished by her dual concentrations in Behavior Analysis and Psychology, areas in which she has shown exceptional promise and dedication. Throughout her life, she has faced countless challenges, including the trauma of abuse in many forms. However, her unwavering determination and belief that her latter days would be greater than her beginnings have propelled her forward. She has taken a stand against all odds, transforming her dreams into reality through sheer perseverance and hard work. Her story is one of triumph over adversity, showcasing her indomitable spirit and unyielding faith in Jesus Christ. In the summer of 2025, she will begin pursuing her master’s degree to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, with an expected graduation in the spring of 2026. This next step in her academic and professional journey is a testament to her commitment to making a difference in the field of behavior analysis, where she aims to apply her knowledge and skills to help others overcome their challenges. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is also an aspiring author. She is currently writing her first book titled "Released from the Bars", which is slated for release in 2025. This deeply personal narrative chronicles her journey of overcoming rejection, fear, abuse, and heartbreak. It is a powerful testimony to the transformative power of God's love and redemption in her life. Through her writing, she hopes to inspire others who have faced similar struggles, demonstrating that it is possible to rise above one's circumstances and achieve greatness.
